i like the starting menu and the suttle animations in the background. the collectables are great as they are easily to see. i think there could be some more variations in the obstacles. maybe an obstacles that requires the player to slide or jump? overall the game fits the theme of climate change well

high points:

  • the gameplay loop is really effective and the narrative is clearly portrayed through the visuals
  • the addition of audio really adds to the overall atmosphere, making the game more captivating

suggested improvements:

  • adding some more variety to the obstacles/collectables/colours present to make the environment slightly more unpredictable

I quite liked this game, played it for a good few minutes. The 3D modelled background and obstacles look really cool, especially the water bottles, and I liked how each collectable has a different sound effect when you collect it.

The game was pretty jittery in movements though. Not sure if it's just my pc or whether it's the game, but it was a bit straining on the eyes to see it jitter like that when moving the character. Perhaps look at the character and maybe adjust some things.

Another thing I noticed was that some parts of the edges of the track are a bit out of place. Not sure if that was intentional or not, but if it wasn't, perhaps readjust your tracks to be more in line with each other. Other then that, it's pretty good.
